Hi,

The server that your item lives on is being repaired. Probably one of the disks went bad and it's being replaced.

You can see this information in your item's task history. Here is a history of the completed tasks for all of your items:
http://www.archive.org/catalog.php?history=1&justme=1

You can get to this page by clicking "Contributions" at the top of the home page, then click the "tasks that are done" link.

In the server column, the machine your item is hosted on, ia301306, is highlighted in yellow. You'll see in the key at the top that means "server readonly -- tasks waiting for harddrive fix".

Basically, while the item is still being served from the backup server so the public can still access it, you won't be able to make changes to your item until the primary server is restored to health. Generally it takes 1-3 days for a server to be repaired, depending on what's wrong with it.

Thanks,

Alexis

Hello,
It has been about 5 working days since the primary
server holding my item was labelled as 'server readonly-tasks waiting for harddrive fix'.

Can someone please fix the problem?

Thank you again for your time,
Mashi

Hello,
I was ABLE TO CHECK IN this time.

(But the url
http://www.archive.org/catalog.php?history=1&justme=1
still reads
'server readonly-waiting for harddrive fix'.)

Thank you so much for fixing the problem.

sincerely,
Mashi
